The Big Guy On The Block
Kristian Matsson is a conundrum if I've ever seen one. His large personality defies his small stature. His perfect English makes it difficult to believe it's his second language. And his intimidating stage presence makes his happy and inviting demeanor come as a bit of a surprise. As I stood watching a performance that will no doubt define the rest of my music experiences to come in my life, I couldn't quite get a grasp of what my connection to the art I was observing was supposed to entail. At times I felt nervous, at others I felt jovial and care free. But I never stopped feeling intrigued. His epithet which at first seemed ironic and comical was by the end of the show transformed into a simple statement of fact; Kristian Matsson is no doubt the tallest man on earth.
